Rapper Cardi B has canceled her scheduled debut performance in Jamaica, which was set to headline the BZR WKND event at Kingston’s National Stadium on October 18. In a video message to fans, the artist stated that unresolved arrangements and contractual restrictions prevented the show from moving forward.

Cardi B denied rumors that low ticket sales were the cause of the cancellation, noting she had heard that over 18,000 tickets had been sold. She emphasized that the decision was not her own and that she had made multiple attempts to resolve the issues surrounding the event.

BZR WKND management has asked ticket holders for patience while they work through the situation. As of now, organizers have not announced a replacement headliner, a new date, or a specific plan for customer refunds.
