Cardi B releases ‘AH HA’ music video amid NYPD permit dispute
Rapper Cardi B has released the music video for her single ‘AH HA’, which was filmed in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. The visual features a block party theme, including appearances by rapper Kash Doll and influencer ‘FreeBandz Kitten’. The track previously reached number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.
During a recent discussion with fans, Cardi B expressed frustration regarding the production costs and the permit process. She stated that while she expected the video to cost approximately $250,000, the final price exceeded $1 million. The artist alleged that she was ‘overcharged’ by the New York Police Department for permits and noted that the heavy police presence made filming difficult. Due to these challenges, she suggested it may be the last time she films a music video in a public setting where she lacks full control.
