Cardiff City manager Barry-Murphy hails Vincent Tan's support as club prepares for Championship

Head coach Brian Barry-Murphy said he has felt “nothing other than support” from Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan after the Malaysian businessman converted £42 million of the club’s debt into equity, halving the amount owed to the majority shareholder. Tan’s backing comes as the Blue birds ready for their return to the English Championship.

Cardiff have yet to sign any new external players this summer, although goalkeeper Nathan Trott has joined permanently after impressing during the promotion‑winning campaign.
