Cardiff investigation: Seventh person charged in Thailand child arrest case

A seventh person has been charged in an ongoing investigation involving two 17-year-old children from Cardiff who were arrested in Thailand. Carrie-Anne Dreyer, 39, of Llantwit Major, faces charges of conspiring to fraudulently evade a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug and four counts of conspiring to arrange or facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation.

Dreyer has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court. The two teenagers remain in custody in Thailand, receiving support from their families and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

Six other individuals have previously been charged in connection with this case: Tremaine Jeanne, Jessica Sani, Levi Mohamed, Patrick O’Driscoll, Gareth Press, and Ffion Bowes-Cavanagh Hooley.
