Cardiff Park Slide Vandalism Injures Child

A 10‑year‑old boy was injured after shards of glass that had been deliberately glued to a slide at Mill Road park in Ely, Cardiff, cut his skin and ripped his clothing. The incident occurred between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, and the child's mother reported the injury to South Wales Police.

South Wales Police were called at about 1:20 p.m. on 31 July and opened an investigation. The mother has also contacted the local council, and a warning sign has been placed on the slide to alert other park users while enquiries continue.
