Celltrion posts record Q2 sales of 1.4 trillion won, driven by high‑margin biosimilars

Celltrion announced its second‑quarter 2025 results, reporting sales of 1.3937 trillion won and operating profit of 451.8 billion won, up 45 % and 86.3 % year‑on‑year respectively. The quarter yielded an operating margin of 32.4 % and a cost‑of‑sales ratio of 38 %, an improvement of 5.4 percentage points from the prior year.

The growth was powered by the company's newer biosimilar portfolio, which now makes up 65 % of total sales. Five recently launched products – Eydenzelt, Avtozma, Omlyclo, Stoboclo‑Osenvelt and Steqeyma – together generated more than 300 billion won, a 49 % increase from the previous quarter.

In the domestic market, Celltrion's Q2 revenue modestly outpaced rival Samsung Biologics, whose sales were 728 billion won lower, though Samsung Biologics posted a higher operating profit for the period.
