Cardiologist Domenico Molinaro dies at Serapo Beach in Gaeta

Domenico Molinaro, a 65-year-old cardiologist and military doctor from Aversa, died on August 14 after suffering a sudden medical emergency at Serapo Beach in Gaeta.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM near the ‘La Nave di Serapo’ beach establishment. Molinaro was in the water when he collapsed. Bystanders and a medical professional on the beach immediately attempted resuscitation and performed cardiac massage while emergency services were summoned.

Despite the arrival of an ambulance and prolonged efforts by paramedics to revive him, Molinaro passed away. Carabinieri arrived at the scene to conduct investigations into the circumstances leading up to the collapse. His funeral was held at the Church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli.
