Coursera invests $100 million in Andrew Ng’s AI startup LearnVector
Coursera, Inc. has announced a $100 million strategic capital investment in LearnVector Inc., an AI-native learning startup founded and led by Andrew Ng. The investment aims to integrate agentic AI across Coursera’s platform to provide personalized, one-on-one learning experiences that adapt to individual student needs.
Andrew Ng, a co-founder of Coursera, stated that the goal is to transform the traditional ‘one-to-many’ teaching model into a ‘one-to-one’ model, using AI to accelerate human development rather than replacing it.
In separate recent activity, Coursera Senior Vice President Alan Cardenas sold 9,139 shares of the company on August 17 at an average price of $5.71, totaling approximately $52,183.
