CardVault secures major investments from Jay-Z, Aaron Judge, and others

CardVault, a sports card and collectibles company led by former NFL player Tom Brady, has secured a strategic investor group featuring high-profile figures from sports, entertainment, and business. Notable investors include Jay-Z, New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge, Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid, and UFC CEO Dana White.

The investment group also includes prominent business leaders such as RedBird Capital founder Gerry Cardinale, Silver Lake co-CEOs Egon Durban and Greg Mondre, and Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves. Other participants include Fenway Sports Group principal owner John Henry and Boston Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck.

CardVault intends to use the capital to fund an ambitious expansion aimed at establishing a national retail network. Plans include opening more than 100 locations nationwide, improving supply-chain infrastructure, developing new technology, and expanding distribution channels. Co-founder Ed Kane stated the company sought ‘builders’ rather than passive investors to help scale the brand and the collectibles industry.
