Care Network Cambridgeshire marks 40 years of community support

Care Network Cambridgeshire is celebrating 40 years of providing community support across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The charity operates through three primary services: Help at Home, RISE (Resilience, Intervention, Support and Empowerment), and Community Support, focusing on tackling social isolation and building independence.

In 2025, the organization supported 2,479 individuals. Impact data indicates that 90 per cent of clients reported increased independence, 94 per cent felt less isolated, and 89 per cent reported feeling less lonely. Additionally, up to 62 per cent of those supported stated the services helped them avoid using NHS services. Referrals to the RISE wellbeing service saw a 21 per cent increase during the year.

A 40th-anniversary event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, at the William Collyn Community Centre in Girton.
