Care services and information events held in Germany
Local initiatives in Germany are addressing the growing demand for elderly care information and support services. In Erkrath, the city's housing and care advisory service, in cooperation with Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO), is hosting a lecture titled “Pflegegrad – Was nun?” (Care level – what now?). The session aims to provide a compact overview of long-term care insurance benefits, various care levels, and options for organizing home care for both patients and their relatives.
In the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis region, the fifth Refrath Care Fair was held at the St. Johann Baptist community hall. Organized by Karl-Alfred Scholz and Andreas Stammler, the event featured 22 exhibitors providing a platform for personal consultations. The fair addresses a lack of awareness regarding available benefits, such as relief amounts established in 2017, and offers expertise on mobile care, insurance, living arrangements, and daily assistance.
