Caream Davis sentenced to 45 years for Irvington attacks

Caream Davis, 46, has been sentenced to 45 years in state prison for violent attacks on a woman and an 11-year-old boy in Irvington. The victims were reportedly walking their dogs when the incidents occurred.

Davis was convicted of several serious offenses, including two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, first-degree kidnapping, aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, criminal restraint, and child endangerment. He was arrested in Richmond, Virginia, in June 2024 and extradited to New Jersey.

The 45-year prison sentence will not commence for two years, as Davis must first complete a separate sentence for a parole violation. If he serves the full term, he could remain incarcerated until 2073.
