Career opportunities in gaming and casino content writing

The online casino industry is actively seeking writers who possess both gaming expertise and strong linguistic skills. Roles such as content writers, translators, SEO specialists, copywriters, and editors are in demand to produce game reviews, guides, and marketing materials.

Due to Norwegian gambling laws, most of these opportunities are located with foreign operators, frequently based in Malta. Salaries for Norwegian-speaking roles in Malta are estimated between 22,000 and 30,000 euros per year, often with relocation assistance provided for EU citizens.

Effective writing in this sector requires a balance of technical knowledge—such as understanding RTP and volatility—and professional integrity. Writers are expected to maintain neutrality, avoid promising wins, and emphasize responsible gambling.
