cargo-partner celebrates 30 years of logistics operations in Slovenia

cargo-partner is celebrating 30 years of operations in Slovenia. Since establishing a small office at Ljubljana Airport in 1996, the company has grown into a major logistics provider within the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) network.

The company currently employs over 150 people and manages nearly 50,000 m² of warehouse space across locations in Ljubljana, Brnik, and Logatec. Its service portfolio has expanded from an initial focus on airfreight to include sea, road, customs, and contract logistics.

Key milestones include the opening of a Koper office to connect with the Port of Koper, the 2013 launch of contract logistics, and the expansion of the iLogistics Center Ljubljana in Brnik to 39,100 m². Most recently, in 2025, the organization increased capacity with a new warehouse in Logatec and a customs department in Ljubljana. Since 2024, cargo-partner has been part of the Nippon Express Group, allowing it to integrate local expertise with global logistics capabilities.
