The guide highlights short 4‑6‑day Bahamas trips, longer 20‑day voyages, and specific ports such as Aruba, the ABC islands, Mexico, Honduras and Belize, with recommendations on ship size, sea days and onboard experiences.
Data from the Caribbean Tourism Organization shows the region’s cruise market accelerating in the first quarter of 2024. The US Virgin Islands recorded a 68 % jump to 831,690 passengers, Puerto Rico grew 51.6 % to 740,471 passengers, the British Virgin Islands rose 29.3 % to 493,397 passengers, and the Bahamas added 20.1 % to reach 3,314,627 cruise arrivals. These gains underscore strong demand for Caribbean cruising and the expanding role of major operators such as Princess Cruises.
