Cariúcha partners with Globo to promote 'Jogada de Risco' series

Alessandra Mendes Firmiano, known on‑screen as Cariúcha, the 42‑year‑old presenter of RedeTV!'s "Superpop", was hired by Globo to appear in a series of promotional videos for the streaming platform Globoplay's new drama "Jogada de Risco". The series, which stars actor Cauã Reymond as former footballer‑turned‑agent Maurício, debuted on July 23. Cariúcha featured in three videos posted by Globoplay, including one alongside Reymond, to highlight the show’s themes of sport‑related corruption and betting.

At the launch event in São Paulo, Cariúcha spoke with reporters about her personal life, saying she is now “very selective” about relationships. She disclosed that her most recent romance lasted only a week and three days and that she is not currently dating anyone casually, choosing instead to focus on her role as host of "Superpop".
