Caring expands senior care services through direct management
Caring, a South Korean senior care company, is standardizing elderly care services by directly managing 68 to 69 nursing centers nationwide. The company aims to provide consistent service quality by implementing internal standards that exceed government requirements, such as higher staff-to-patient ratios and mandatory social worker accompaniment during initial visits.
Led by CEO Kim Tae-sung, Caring has expanded its operations into three main pillars: home-based care (including visiting care and daycare), a commerce division for welfare equipment, and a new business division focused on AI and robot-based care technologies. The company is also venturing into facility-based care through ‘Caring Stay’ silver towns and ‘Caring Village’ urban nursing homes.
Caring has demonstrated financial growth, reporting 165.8 billion KRW in revenue for 2025 and achieving positive monthly EBITDA in November of the same year. The company recently secured a 40 billion KRW Series C investment, bringing its cumulative funding to approximately 115-120 billion KRW.
