Caritas Argentina Raises Over $4.6 Billion in 2026 Annual Fundraising Campaign

Caritas Argentina reported that its 2026 Annual Collection, conducted on June 6‑7, gathered a total of 4,670,002,407 Argentine pesos, marking a 53.9 % increase over the previous year. The funds will support the organization’s social programmes across more than 3,500 sites in the country’s 67 dioceses, covering education, early childhood, food assistance, employment, training, addiction prevention, housing and social integration.

A separate report from a regional Caritas diocese noted that the local collection exceeded 66 million pesos, a 61 % rise compared with 2025, reinforcing the nationwide surge in charitable giving despite a difficult economic context.
