Caritas Mendoza launches 70th anniversary fundraising campaign

Caritas Mendoza has begun its annual collection to mark the organization’s 70th anniversary. The campaign, running over the weekend, aims to mobilize volunteers across the province and raise funds for programs that assist vulnerable families, children, youth and adults. The charity currently supports around 4,000 families, directly reaching about 15,000 people in the Archdiocese, thanks to roughly 800 volunteers working in education, social economy, emergency response, community animation, youth participation and institutional communication.

Donations can be made at churches, schools, public spaces, supermarkets and traffic lights, where volunteers will be clearly identified and insured. Digital contributions are also accepted via bank transfer and other online channels. All proceeds will be split evenly among Caritas’ parish, diocesan and national branches to sustain assistance, human promotion, education and social inclusion initiatives.
