Carla Hall announces new cookbook ‘Carla Bakes’

Chef Carla Hall is releasing a new cookbook titled ‘Carla Bakes: Sweet, Savory, and from the Heart’, scheduled for publication on September 8, 2026, through 4 Color Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House.

The book features various recipes, including a Striped Malted Pound Cake that utilizes a cold oven start to ensure even baking and a fine crumb. Additionally, the collection includes Citrus and Sour Cherry Scones, which use lime and orange zest combined with dried cherries and cold grated butter to achieve a flaky texture.
