Carlos Ache: Motocross athlete recovers after life-altering hit-and-run

Carlos Hernández, a professional motocross athlete known as Carlos Ache, is recovering after a life-altering accident. At 23 years old, the rising star was struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle. The driver fled the scene immediately following the collision.

The accident resulted in severe injuries, including a moderate traumatic brain injury, a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down, a fractured left knee, and multiple lacerations. Despite the permanent physical limitations and the sudden end to his professional racing career, Hernández has demonstrated resilience in his recovery process.
