Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega addresses divorce controversy

Brazilian comedian and presenter Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega has addressed the public controversy surrounding his divorce from Andréa Nóbrega. During a recent appearance, the 90-year-old entertainer expressed that he remained silent for years to protect his children, João Victor and Maria Fernanda, from parental conflict. He clarified that his divorce was finalized in December 2009 and denied allegations that his current relationship began while he was still married.

Renata de Nóbrega, Carlos Alberto’s current wife, defended her reputation, stating she met him eight years after his previous marriage ended and rejecting any claims that she was involved in the dissolution of his former union.

In response, Andréa Nóbrega released a video stating she is at peace with her account of the marriage's end. She maintained that her recent interview reflections were based on her lived experiences and clarified that she did not mention specific names, distancing herself from social media edits that linked her comments to Renata de Nóbrega.
