Carlos Alcaraz qualifies for ATP Finals for fifth straight year

Carlos Alcaraz has mathematically secured his qualification for the ATP Finals in Turin for the fifth consecutive season. The Spanish player becomes the third athlete to confirm his participation, following Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.

Alcaraz's qualification was bolstered by his Australian Open victory earlier this year. Despite dealing with a wrist tendon sheath inflammation that kept him sidelined since April, he successfully returned to competition, most recently reaching the quarterfinals at the US Open.

The ATP Finals, scheduled to take place from November 15 to November 22, features the top eight players of the season. Alcaraz currently holds fourth place in the ATP Race with 4,050 points.
