Carlos Alcaraz wins Vienna Open title
Carlos Alcaraz secured his 28th career ATP title by winning the Vienna Open, defeating Australia's Alex de Miñaur in the final with a score of 6-1, 6-4. The victory marks Alcaraz's fourth title of the 2026 season, following wins in Doha, Tokyo, and the Australian Open.
Throughout the tournament, the world number 3 did not drop a single set across five matches. This win also maintains his perfect record in ATP 500 events for the 2026 season, where he has won all 16 matches played. Alcaraz's performance in Vienna follows a successful return to competition after recovering from a right wrist injury that sidelined him from mid-April to late August.
Following his success in Austria, Alcaraz is scheduled to compete in the Rolex Paris Masters before heading to the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.
