Carlos Alcaraz withdraws from Cincinnati Open due to wrist injury
World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn from the 2026 Cincinnati Open, scheduled for Aug 13‑23, because of a lingering right‑wrist injury (tenosynovitis) he sustained in April at the Barcelona Open. The tournament director Bob Moran said Alcaraz is doing everything to return and wished him a speedy recovery.
