Brazil recruitment: IBGE, Câmara dos Deputados, and regional agencies announce vacancies

Brazil is seeing a significant wave of recruitment and public service examinations across various sectors. The IBGE has selected Fundação Cesgranrio to manage a selection process for 27,279 temporary census takers, with an edict expected by October. The Receita Federal is currently analyzing 17 proposals from organizing institutions for its upcoming contest, which aims to fill 146 positions for tax auditors and analysts, with an edict anticipated in December.

In the legislative and educational sectors, the Câmara dos Deputados has opened registrations for 184 positions, including 66 immediate vacancies, with salaries reaching up to R$ 32,070.88. Educational institutions are also active: the state of Paraná is conducting a selection process for temporary teachers, the IFRS Gramado is offering 30 administration technician spots, and IFPE has announced 4,585 vacancies for 2027.

Regional labor markets are also highly active, with Sine Manaus offering 777 jobs, Sine Congonhas providing 490 vacancies, and the Distrito Federal reporting 747 available positions through its worker agencies. Additionally, Sesc Acre is recruiting for hospitality and food service roles in Rio Branco and Cruzeiro do Sul.
