Puebla municipal government reports progress on infrastructure and digital services

The municipal government of Puebla, led by Mayor Pepe Chedraui, has highlighted various administrative and infrastructure achievements during its second year of governance. Key developments include the expansion of digital services, with 27 new online procedures added to the city's technological offerings to improve efficiency and transparency.

In terms of public works and social welfare, the administration has focused on street paving, sewage rehabilitation, and the modernization of public lighting using LED technology across several neighborhoods, including San Baltazar Campeche and Ignacio Romero Vargas. Social programs have also been emphasized, including the distribution of food aid, medical consultations, and the establishment of safe points for women.

Additionally, security coordination is being prioritized for upcoming large-scale events, such as the Torneo de la Amistad, which is expected to attract over 45,000 visitors. Authorities are working across municipal, state, and federal levels to ensure safety and operational order during the sporting competitions.
