Carlos Brandão defends partnership with Lula in Maranhão

Maranhão Governor Carlos Brandão has publicly affirmed his support for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, emphasizing the importance of the partnership between the state and federal governments. Brandão highlighted that this cooperation has facilitated significant investments, job creation, and the maintenance of social programs such as Bolsa Família, Pé-de-Meia, and Minha Casa Minha Vida.

During a social media post at the site of the new Avenida Litorânea in São Luís, Brandão cited specific projects resulting from this alliance, including the arrival of Inpasa and the implementation of the ZPE in Bacabeira. However, the project at the Avenida Litorânea has faced criticism regarding delays. The construction involves 5km funded by federal resources and an additional 2km intended to be funded by the state government.
