Carlos Bruce clarifies Rutas de Lima arbitration costs

Carlos Bruce, the Somos Perú candidate for Mayor of Lima, stated that the USD 700,000 figure recently reported in the Rutas de Lima case represents only the administrative costs of the arbitration process.

Bruce clarified that international authorities have not yet determined the final amount for economic reparations that the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima must pay. He noted that legal specialists suggest the total indemnity to the concessionaire could reach several billion dollars.

In response to the projected financial impact, Bruce proposed establishing a working group with the Central Government if elected to coordinate financing mechanisms and negotiate payment structures with the involved companies.
