Carlos Eduardo Rovira faces declining political power in Misiones

Carlos Eduardo Rovira has returned to his seat in the Chamber of Representatives of Misiones amidst a significant decline in his political influence. Following an absence from sessions after the winter recess, Rovira faces a changed legislative landscape where his previous absolute control has diminished.

The shift in power is attributed to political maneuvering by Hugo Passalacqua, who has organized a parallel power structure. This realignment includes at least 18 legislators supporting the Governor to ensure governability, effectively marginalizing Rovira from key decision-making processes.

The political fracture is also evident at the national level, where Rovira has reportedly lost support from four national deputies and two senators.
