Carlos Espí emerges as Real Madrid standout with rapid scoring rate
Carlos Espí, a 2005-born striker, is making a significant impact at Real Madrid, scoring three goals in just 38 minutes of play across six appearances. The 194cm forward currently sits as the club’s second-highest scorer for the season, tied with Jude Bellingham and trailing only Kylian Mbappé.
Espí, who joined Real Madrid from Levante for a €25 million release clause, recently scored a crucial goal in a Champions League match against Roma to spark a comeback. His performance has highlighted a missed opportunity for Napoli, who reportedly monitored the player during the summer transfer window but failed to secure him.
In addition to his club success, Espí has performed strongly with the Spain Under-21 national team, including scoring five goals against San Marino. Despite limited minutes under manager José Mourinho, his scoring rate of approximately one goal every 12 to 13 minutes has established him as a rising talent in Spanish football.
