Carlos Herrera joins Bodegas Barbadillo's La Sociedad de la Bota
Bodegas Barbadillo has named Carlos Herrera as the inaugural member of 'La Sociedad de la Bota'. This exclusive initiative is designed to share the heritage of the historic Sanlúcar-based winery with a select group of individuals closely linked to the bodega and its wines.
The announcement took place during an intimate private gathering for twelve guests, including friends of Herrera and representatives from COPE. As part of his membership, Herrera selected a Palo Cortado for his bota.
To accommodate the society, Barbadillo has established a dedicated space within its historic facilities, located near an indoor vineyard. The presentation included remarks from General Director Víctor Vélez and Marketing and Communication Director Álvaro Alés, with enological insights provided by Montse Molina.
