Carlos Keen initiates participatory development strategy update

The Municipality of Luján is conducting a participatory process to update the development strategy for Carlos Keen. Following an initial virtual consultation, the first in-person meeting was held with residents, merchants, entrepreneurs, and local authorities to identify challenges and opportunities for the town's future.

The initiative focuses on three strategic pillars: consolidating Carlos Keen as a gastronomic and tourist hub while preserving its rural identity and cultural heritage; establishing a regulatory and infrastructure framework for sustainable growth; and improving coexistence between tourism, commercial, residential, and industrial activities.

Mayor Leonardo Boto emphasized the need to build a shared vision for the town's progress. The process is receiving methodological support from the Red de Innovación Local (RIL). The next stage will involve systematizing the community's proposals to create a consolidated strategy for further validation.
