Carlos Luis: A personal account of a life in Ciudad del Maíz

A personal narrative describes the life of Carlos Luis, a man characterized by his contradictory and free-spirited personality. Born in Torreón, Coahuila, and raised in Ciudad del Maíz, San Luis Potosí, he demonstrated early artistic talent in drawing and later trained in the family photography business.

Despite a rebellious youth, Carlos Luis became a supportive family member, assisting his brother Gonzalo in caring for their elderly parents. Following their father's death, he managed the complex task of settling the family's intestate estate. He currently spends his time traveling by motorcycle.
