Carlos Mazón joins DANA investigation after TSJCV ruling
Carlos Mazón, the former president of the Generalitat Valenciana, has successfully joined the judicial investigation into the DANA disaster after receiving authorization from the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV). This follows a March resolution by the TSJCV that had previously declined to investigate him due to a lack of evidence.
While Mazón has gained the ability to challenge decisions made by investigating judge Nuria Ruiz Tobarra, he has not yet provided his WhatsApp messages from the period in question. The investigation is also looking into the communications of his former Chief of Staff, José Manuel Cuenca, who claimed his messages were lost during a mobile device change.
