Carlos Mora scores twice as Costa Rica loses 4-3 to Curacao

Carlos Mora, a player for Universitatea Craiova, scored two goals for the Costa Rica national team during a CONCACAF Nations League match against Curacao. Despite Costa Rica leading 3-0 early in the game, including a standout first half from Mora, the team suffered a 4-3 defeat.

The momentum shifted in the second half following tactical substitutions by Curacao. Players introduced in the 57th minute helped turn the score from 3-0 to 3-4 between the 62nd and 83rd minutes. Following the match, Mora attributed the loss to a lack of concentration, stating, “We are responsible for what happened... we cannot lose like this because of those weaknesses in concentration.”
