Carlos Moreno to present 15-minute city concept in Cipolletti

Franco-Colombian urbanist Carlos Moreno will present a lecture titled ‘The 15-minute city and the 30-minute territory’ this Saturday at 10:00 AM in Cipolletti, Argentina. The event will take place at the Roberto Abel Arts and Exhibition Center.

Moreno, a professor at Sorbonne University and an internationally recognized expert in urban proximity, aims to discuss transforming urban environments to reduce travel times and bring essential services closer to residents. His ‘15-minute city’ concept proposes that daily needs—such as work, education, health, and leisure—should be accessible within a 15-minute walk or bike ride from home. He will also address the ‘30-minute territory’ concept regarding regional integration and mobility in growing cities.

The lecture is organized by the Government of Río Negro and the Municipality of Cipolletti. It is free and open to the public without prior registration.
