Carlos Reyes López, former federal deputy and Chihuahua official, dies at 69
Carlos Reyes López, a former federal deputy for the National Action Party (PAN) and former director of Roadways and Traffic in Chihuahua, has passed away at the age of 69. He had been facing a long-term illness.
An industrial mechanical engineer, Reyes López held significant roles in both the political and business sectors. He served in the LX Legislature as a federal deputy from 2006 to 2009 and later directed Chihuahua's traffic department between 2016 and 2018. His professional background included work at Ford Motor Company and serving as president of Coparmex in Chihuahua.
His death has drawn condolences from political leaders, including Governor Maru Campos Galván, as well as members of the business community and social organizations he helped lead, such as ‘Hacia una Mejor Calidad de Vida’ and ‘Sí por México’.
