Carlos Rivera postpones international tour dates due to vocal injury

Mexican singer Carlos Rivera has announced a temporary pause in his ¡Vida México! Tour due to a vocal cord injury. Following medical advice, the artist must undergo approximately one month of absolute rest to prevent permanent damage to his voice.

The medical hiatus has forced the postponement of four international concert dates originally scheduled for October 2026. The affected locations and their new rescheduled dates in 2027 are:

• Guatemala (Fórum Majadas): April 9, 2027 • El Salvador (Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda): April 10, 2027 • Bogotá, Colombia (Movistar Arena): April 15, 2027 • Medellín, Colombia (Teatro Universidad de Medellín): April 17, 2027

Organizers have confirmed that tickets purchased for the original dates will remain valid for the new performances. Rivera expressed regret over the decision, noting the impact on fans' travel plans, but emphasized that the pause is necessary for his long-term health. He aims to resume his professional activities in Mexico, specifically in Tlaxcala, on October 23, provided his recovery progresses favorably.
