Carlos Sánchez criticizes Dominican influencers traveling to Israel

Dominican comedian Carlos Sánchez has publicly criticized a group of Dominican communicators and influencers—Fransheska Zapata, Gabi Desangles, and María Luisa Molina—following news that they will join an official delegation to visit Israel.

In a message posted to Instagram, Sánchez questioned the ethics of the trip, which includes luxury accommodations and significant spending money. He warned that public figures may be used to improve Israel’s international image regarding the ongoing conflict, stating, “if it is about Israel, know that they are using you to clean up the image of a genocide.”

Sánchez, identifying himself as Jewish, called on content creators to act responsibly toward their followers and respect the victims of the conflict, concluding his message with “Peace for Palestine.”
