Carlos Vives performs special children's concert in Bogotá

Singer Carlos Vives performed a special concert for children at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá, blending music, theater, and storytelling. The event featured characters from the fables of Rafael Pombo, a major figure in Colombian children's literature, including Simón, Juan Matachín, Michín, Rinrín Renacuajo, and La Viejecita.

The performance included musical contributions from Nidia Góngora, Herencia de Timbiquí, the Río Grande children's choir, and Juliana. During the show, the song ‘Seguiré’ was performed as a tribute to the victims of the earthquake that occurred on August 10, highlighting Colombian resilience. Vives also performed popular hits such as ‘Volví a nacer’ and ‘La bicicleta,’ adapted for a younger audience.

The show is part of the ‘Tour al Sol’ tour and celebrates ‘Los Canticuentos,’ which is noted as the best-selling children's album in Colombian history.
