Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose announce engagement

Olympic gymnast Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose have announced their engagement. The couple revealed on September 28, 2026, that the proposal actually took place nine months earlier, in December 2025, during a private ceremony in Tagaytay City.

San Jose shared photos and videos of the candlelit event on social media, noting that they had kept the news a secret to treasure the moment. Yulo confirmed the engagement via Facebook, expressing his commitment to San Jose in both English and Filipino.

The announcement follows Yulo’s recent success at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, where he won two gold medals in the men’s floor exercise and vault. The couple, who began dating in 2020 after San Jose reached out to Yulo as a fan, have lived together since 2023.
