Charlotte Casiraghi wins first literary prize for ‘La Fêlure’

Charlotte Casiraghi has received her first literary award for her solo work, ‘La Fêlure’. The recognition was presented during the 16th edition of the E Statinate festival held in Lumio, Corsica.

Casiraghi was honored with the ‘Musa Nostra’ prize, an award that recognizes outstanding authors writing in French or Corsican. During the ceremony, she expressed deep emotion, noting that the island of Corsica holds a special connection to her work and her personal history.

Originally published in January by Julliard, ‘La Fêlure’ explores themes of fragility, grief, and the emotional wounds that shape individuals. Casiraghi described the book as a journey of navigating life's cracks and risks, a concept she linked to the wild landscapes and maritime elements of Corsica.
