Carl's Jr. opens first restaurant in Santo Domingo

The American flame-grilled hamburger chain Carl's Jr. has officially opened its first location in the Dominican Republic. The new restaurant is situated in the Galería 360 shopping center on John F. Kennedy Avenue in Santo Domingo.

Dath, the company operating the franchise in the country, led the presentation. Mónica Cabrera Pérez, CEO for Mexico and the Dominican Republic at Dath, stated that the brand aims to provide an experience of excellence following international standards. The establishment utilizes the international ‘In-Line’ concept, designed to integrate into high-traffic shopping centers with modern and functional spaces.

The opening has resulted in the hiring of more than 25 direct employees and has generated indirect opportunities through partnerships with local suppliers and commercial associates. The launch event included executives from CKE Restaurants, the global owner of the brand, and senior marketing and operations leadership for the Americas.
