Carlton Football Club narrows AFL coaching race to Giansiracusa and Fraser

The Carlton Football Club’s search for a new senior coach has entered its final phase. Development coach Daniel Giansiracusa, previously thought out of contention, has been confirmed as one of at least four remaining candidates and will present to the selection committee.

Caretaker coach Josh Fraser is also being considered. Club general manager of football Chris Davis told SEN Breakfast that Fraser has performed well and has been invited to put his hand up for the role, though Fraser has not confirmed his interest.

The club plans to make a decision later in the season after evaluating the shortlist.
