Carlton Football Club undergoes roster overhaul ahead of trade period

The Carlton Football Club is undergoing significant roster changes as it enters a new era under coach Josh Fraser. General manager Chris Davies confirmed the club will use all available mechanisms, including free agency, the trade period, and the draft, to strengthen the squad.

Priority areas for reinforcement include key forward firepower, defensive depth across the halfback line, and midfield stability. This follows a period of ruthless list management where the club delisted nine players, including father-son duo Ben and Lucas Camporeale.

While the Camporeale twins have been delisted to provide list flexibility, the club noted they will be considered for potential train-on opportunities following the November AFL draft. Other players, such as Ollie Hollands and Adam Saad, remain out of contract as the club prepares for the upcoming movement period.
