Carly Rae Jepsen releases 'After All' ahead of double album Day & Night

Pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen released the single “After All” on Thursday as the latest preview from her forthcoming double album Day and Night. The song reflects on parenthood, identity and life’s shifts, and was co‑written with longtime collaborators Kyle Shearer and Nate Cyphert, who also produced the track.

The accompanying video, directed by Aerin Moreno, shows Jepsen moving through a softly lit room after an evening gathering, interspersed with home‑video‑style footage of celebrations spanning decades. Day and Night, a 24‑track double‑album set for release on 18 September via Interscope Records, is divided into “day” and “night” halves, with “After All” belonging to the former. Jepsen will promote the album with a headline performance at the All Things Go Festival.
