Carmate expands Biaslon Easy Fit tire chain lineup

Carmate has expanded its Biaslon Easy Fit non-metallic tire chain lineup by adding eight new product numbers. This expansion increases the number of compatible tire sizes from 79 to 125, raising the vehicle coverage rate from 52 percent to 81 percent. The new additions include one M-size model for compact cars like the Toyota Yaris and Aqua, and seven L-size models for minivans and SUVs such as the Toyota Alphard, RAV4, and Land Cruiser, as well as models from Subaru, Mazda, and Mitsubishi.

The Biaslon Easy Fit features a patented “self-fit reel” mechanism. This design allows users to attach the chains by extending a wire to a hook and winding it, using the vehicle's rotation to tighten the fit automatically. This process eliminates the need for jack-ups or moving the vehicle during installation. The product also utilizes “3D Fit” and “Tread Connect” technologies to improve grip on ice and enhance ride comfort by reducing lifting caused by centrifugal force.

Manufactured in Carmate's domestic factories, the products are JASAA certified. The Biaslon series has a long history dating back to 1985, with cumulative shipments reaching approximately 3.9 million pairs as of 2025.
