Carmela Mancino to serve as interim secretary for Positano and Praiano

Carmela Mancino, the current municipal secretary of Praiano, will take on an interim role as the secretary for Positano. This administrative collaboration between the two neighboring Amalfi Coast municipalities is led by female mayors Anna Maria Caso of Praiano and Gabriella Guida of Positano.

The arrangement serves as a temporary bridge for Positano, which requires a full-time official. The local government is currently evaluating candidates to find a permanent replacement for the position.

Concurrently, the new administration in Positano is undergoing a restructuring of its administrative offices, specifically targeting the technical and public works departments. This reorganization follows a campaign promise to realign key roles with the new administration's program.
