Former WWE Women’s Champion Carmella, also known as Leah Van Dale, has clarified recent comments regarding her retirement from professional wrestling. During an episode of her podcast, “Hot Mom S**t,” Carmella suggested she was retired, stating, “I can’t wrestle anymore,” and noting that her focus had shifted toward motherhood.

Following the podcast episode, Carmella used social media to correct the narrative, stating that her foot has healed and she is in the best shape of her life. She posted a video with the text “Retired? Allegedly...” to clear up any confusion regarding her professional status.

Carmella’s last televised match for WWE was against Bianca Belair on Monday Night RAW in February 2023, with her final live event appearance occurring in March 2023.
